Savoey

Das Savoey ist im Terminal21 Asok. Eigentlich wollte ich ja Pad Kra Pao essen, aber der Laden hatte zu (hierzu später einmal mehr). Das Savoey hat 4 Läden in Bangkok und die Karte sah recht vielversprechend aus. Bestellt hatte ich Shrimps Spicy, Snakefisch mit Tamerinde und Eisbergsalat als Gemüse (eigentlich dachte ich ja das ich Kohl bestellt hatte, aber dem war nicht so). Der Crispy-Fisch im Tamarindensud war sehr lecker. Der Eisbergsalat als Gemüse völlig unerwarted auch super lecker. Die Krönung waren aber die Spicy-Fried-Shrimps. Zum einen waren diese nur kurz fritiert und nicht trocken. Der Spicy-Mix drumherum war aber absolut top. Scharf, frisch (Minze und Thaigras), sauer (tamarinde) und dann noch Kräuter und Knoblauch. Also echt sehr lecker Thaifood, welches eine Wiederholung wert ist!

Popular place for great royal Thai food.Was told by my Thai friends this restaurant has long history.Food didnt disappoint.The red curry crab meat was fabulous!!!The roast pork neck was succulent..The fried morning glory was crunchy.Food was served fast.

The food is amazing. Though they are known for their crab curry, their fried pork with rice is incredible. Best that i had eaten! It’s a must order when you are here.The food is amazing. Central location at Terminal 21, and near to our hotel too. So much variety of Thai seafood dishes to choose from. The appetiser of rice cracker with tamarind dip is yummy. Crab omelette is delicious and seafood Tom yam soup did not disappoint. Prices are bit higher, given the quality, it’s acceptable. We’ll be back to try the other dishes.

We love it!The staff arranged us seat at the window side, have a great view.The curry crab is really good, must ordered rice eat together.Grilled pork neck with Thai spice sauce, quick-fried water morning glory, pad Thai sea Chan are delicious.Dessert : mango sticky rice and the coconut ice creamHave a great time in this restaurant

Review based on our visit in 26 May 2023.We order some of their recommended menu.Since we are not in the mood to crack some crab shell , we order the crab meat with curry sauce that already been peeled from the shell. Curry taste is okay. Not as special as expected. But the crab meat portion is a bit little compared to the price.Oyster omellete is eatable but not very special.The Tom Yum got quite shrimp, squid, mushroom, and fish meat inside it. Although the broth itself is not the best I ever taste, but still okay.The morning glory is very delicious! Best morning glory I ever taste, even compared to my country's. And the portion is also big, the only drawback are it's mostly the stem part, very little leaves.The deep fried fish with mango sauce is delicious. The fish itself still hold a bit earth-scented aroma, so you need to mix it with the mango sauce to help get rid of the smell.The tofu with minced meat also delicious.Lime juice is recommended for the drink. It's very fresh and sour enough to pump you up.
