Im Doo Rae war ich 2 mal. Einmal alleine und einmal mit Kumpel. Beim ersten mal wurde ich schwer ins Abseits gesetzt, was aber verständlich war, da ich alleine war und man nicht einen großen Tisch an mich verschwenden wollte (hier hatte ich auch kein BBQ). Beim zweiten Besuch haben wir dann das Korean BBQ gemacht (es stand noch ein anderes Restaurant zur Auswahl, welches das ganze aber nur auf einem Elektrogrill angeboten hat). Wir haben uns 3 Fleischsorten (Rind, Zunge und Schweinebauch) ausgesucht. Dazu gab es dann noch einen Eintopf, von dem wir dachten das es eigentlich Grillgemüse sei 🙈, gedämpftes Ei und Mais. Es kamen wie beim Einzelbesuch erst einmal die Gratis-Sides (Kimchi, Algen, Eingelegtes …). Dann ging es auch schon mit dem Rind los. Das Fleisch wurde eigentlich mehr von den angstellten gegrillt und uns hierzu keine Zange gegeben (aber wozu hat man Stäbchen 😇). Es wurden auch ständig der Grillrost ausgetauscht! Witer ging es dann mit der Zunge und mit dem eingelegten Schweinebauch. Es war alles in allem sehr lecker und eine neue Erfahrung. Sicherlich ist Korea-Town bei einem längerem Besuch wieder eine Option!

Always great. I loved pork belly and beef bone soup with glass noodle. Steamed egg is also very tasty.You hv to pay 30 thb for entry parking for 1 hour and then make sure u stamp ur parking ticket at the store u shop or eat at to reduce from xx thb (sry i can remember) down to 20 thb per hour.

Excellent service. Food authentic and delicious. Atmosphere…not really but u don’t go to a Korean good joint for atmosphere. Most important is service and food and they nailed it!
So, here we were. Vacationing in Thailand prior to a few days in Seoul. We decided to “prep” ourselves with some Korean BBQ. And our trip to Doo Rae became the experience to beat. The service was awesome. The ban chan was above par. The cuts of meat were spectacular. And atmosphere was 100% authentic. Prices were great and we all left very satisfied with our experience. Thanks a lot to the staff at Doo Rae!
My wife and I walk in around 8 p.m. on April 12. We got seated right away on the second floor. Everyone on the second floor was wearing a face mask. The team on the second floor delivered one of the most efficient service. They work hard and help my family experience a wonderful dinner. Officially, this is our favorite place to eat in Bangkok. Seriously, we have eaten here atleast twice everytime we visit Bangkok.
