Ippudo

Das Ippudo ist eine Restaurant-Kette für Ramen (und wohl auch Sushi). Eigentlich wollte ich in ein anderes Ramen-Restaurant, war aber zu spät dran und bin daher mal wieder ins Ippudo im Central Embassy. Das Lokal ist nur ein paar Meter vom Boatnoodle-Shop entfernt, bei dem man immer anstehen muss. Allerdings war es mir nach Ramen. Ich mag die Brühe und auch die etwas bissigen Nudeln. Man kann im Ippudo allerdings nicht genau angeben wie man seinen Ramen möchte, das geht in anderen Ramen-Restaurants eigentlich fast immer. Also das aktuelle Angebot Spicy-Black-Ramen und Gyoza in Chilliöl geordert. Der Ramen kam recht zügig und war, wie zu erwarten, recht lecker. Die Gyoza brauchten etwas, da sie ja frisch gemacht werden. Dieses mal nicht die gebratene Variante genommen, waren aber auch sehr lecker. Alles in allem kann man glaube ich bei einem Ippudo nicht viel falsch machen ;).

I loved the food at ippudo. The ramen and the takoyaki was perfect. But the salmon tempura was slightly disappointing. This is a must visit in BKK

The flavorful dishes was in Singapore branch. The second one was in Central World Bangkok. This branch was OK. All the dishes that we ordered needed to added soy sauce even it's already had enough msg that made my tongue felt anesthetized,it's bland. The service was little confused i.e serve me the wrong dishes and drinks.

Good ramen chain store. The taste is rich in pork flavor with aromatic oil. The pork slice is tender and tasty. The thick noodle is chewy. Pork dumpling is a good combination with a bowl of ramen.

It used to be quite a special occasion to have ippudo ramen in central embassy. Not anymore as the new location and decor changed to be quite normal and for the ramen itself- the soup is not so hot and the noodle choices of soft to hard aren’t anymore available. There are also no garlic and chilli oil on table for us to play with, like we used to...Price is not cheap but is now become the standard to spend more than 10USD for a bowl of normal ramen.

Excellent light dinner. Fast . Tasty meal and a beer to round it out... cucumber.. calamari.. fried shrimp.. chicken buns.. moderate price range.

Very good ramen. The broth is so rich and tasty. You can even ask for the original or the light (less fat） broth. You can also customize your ramen and choose how your noodles will be cooked: soft, medium or hard (I guess it's more like al dente for pasta). Appetizers are good although the portion is quite small. Staff are nice and give advice confidently.
