Nachdem die ersten Tage Thai auf dem Programm stand und ich hierbei einen neuen Inder gesehen habe, welcher auch noch recht bewertet ist bei Google, habe ich das heute einfach einmal ausprobiert. Biryani wird wohl typisch in diesen Tontöpfen zubereitet, welche mit etwas Teig abgedichtet sind. Ich hatte mich für Lamm und ohne Reis entschieden (dafür hatte ich 2 Naan geordert). Was soll ich sagen, war sehr lecker und auch recht viel (Feeds 1-2 person). Die Bedienung wollte mir noch reis und eine Vorspeise aufquatschen, aber ich lag schon richtig das meine Auswahl ausreichend ist. Alles war auch gut gewürzt und es sind auch noch einige Inder ins Lokal gekommen.

We ate here with friends, who live nearby and have introduced them to the delights of Dum Handi Biryani Sukhumvit 11. It is nice to return and be welcomed back by the owner. Service is impeccable and the food is glorious! Needless to say, we will return next year!

Just finished a beautiful meal, served by attentive and professional staff. So tasty with unique tastes. Our only issue? Eyes bigger than tummy. Ordered too much but felt guilty leaving any of our dishes. Highly recommend.
This place @DUM HANDI BIRYANI have some amazing biryani. Good atmosphere, the food is delicious. You have various options for Kababs. Veg to chicken and Mutton. Even sea food. Same in curries all the options. Staff is very active and friendly. Recomanded will come again.
I am an Indian and like other most Indians I also like to order and have some good delicious Indian food whenever I am on a trip anywhere Abroad.With similar feelings and expectations I was in Bangkok and happen to visit this restaurant.I ordered their Non Veg Platter( which included one Daal, Mix veg ,rice, Laccha Paratha and one naan, Raayta and one sweet dish which was gulab Jamun, in chicken they served me chicken curry which was brown in color but in the menu they have written chicken tikka masala)FIrstly, the menu had chicken tikkka masala written in it and by far what I know that in the recipe of chicken tikka masala it has to be boneless chicken, in place of the chicken tikka masala they served me some chicken curry(with bone) which I did not approve of so I got it changed to the original chicken tikka masala which took 10 minutes additionally while I ate almost all of my naan and paratha.Secondly, the chicken served by them had a foul smell because of which I could not eat it and in the pictures it can be seen that I have left it intact.Thirdly, the entire thaali was average in taste, though the portion was good and can be good for one person.Fourthly, the time of preparation was 25 minutes and additionally it took 10 more minutes to get my chicken tika masala which was below average in taste.Fifthly, the location is good but if a person is looking for a pure vegetarian food he can SIMPLY SKIP THIS RESTAURANT AND GO TO DOSA KING WHICH IS RIGHT CLOSELY LOCATED NEAR THIS RESTAURANT, I happen eat food in that restaurant it is very good in comparison to this Dum Handi Biryani.Sixthly, the rates of this restaurant are on the higher side as compared to other nearby restaurants. I have heard that the biryani that this restaurant serves is good, may be one can try biryani here but persons looking for North Indian Thaali (platter) can simply avoid this restaurant.Seventhly, the total billing amount was 441 Baht( bill Picture uploaded) which is close to 1146/- INR which is way too much for the quality and taste that the served.
Lukhnow biryani was mind blowing and chicken 65 was perfect and juicy . Mr. Suvash was very warm n friendly , will be back soon .
Customer Service is very good. The waiter who served us was very good and always attended us with a happy smiley face. 5 star for the waiter.Ambiance is okayFood taste is okay coz my expectations is very high for Biriyani. But it was served very hot and fresh. We order Handi Hyderabad Mutton Biriyani (served in clay pot)Paani poori set was good and we enjoyed it. The potatoes masala was cold, Maybe it was refrigerated. I always prefer freshly made and hot food.
They advertise that biryani is made fresh in the clay pots and never reheated.It was truly fresh, ( takes 30 minutes from time of order). Its definitely worth it. One of the best biryanis I have had in Bangkok and makes it to top 5 around the world.We also ordered Dal Makhani which was perfect consistency. The naans left a little to be desired.Staff was extremely polite and helpful.Will definitely recommend and visit again with friends
Very good and special food. The veg biryani was nice and chicken dices tasty. The menu and cuisine differs from other traditional western indian restaurants. Ran was amazing and was super polite whole offering the highest level of service. Thank you! Would gladly eat there again

Very good Indian food. They made the food non-spicy as requested . The taste was authentic and flavorful . The garlic naan was excellently prepared. The butter naan was thicker then normally it should be.
We stayed close to this restaurant and it's a very nice looking place to go. The interiors is absolutely much better than average, clean and inviting you to have a better Indian food experience than you normally would find in this area of Bangkok. Great big selection of so tasty courses, nice staff to help if needed and overall performance of the restaurant is just nice. Friendly and a little exotic atmosphere included made this dinner we had worth to remember. We will definitely come back and enjoy the excellent food.
Indian food is a favorite of ours and the food here was exceptionally flavorful without being at all heavy. Dishes were well-presented in a modern style but not gimmicky. The menu was varied, with a wide selection of meat and vegetarian dishes and anyone is sure to find something that appeals. The meal staff was attentive without being intrusive, making recommendations when asked and yet accommodating when we voiced our preferences. All in all, the experience was impeccable.
At first, looking at and reading the menu, nothing jumped out at me. As the orders came out, the dishes were amazing along with the service. The service of the wait staff was impeccable. They explained each dish as they were ordered and as they came out. A four course meal was packed at a great price. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant.
I was quite surprise when my friends said we're going to eat some very popular fine dining food, yet I found out the place was open and it's just in good alley. Yet when we got in and they served the meal, I know why.. All food was perfect! From entree to dessert.. I love it! it's hidden gem and if I visit Bangkok again, I hope I can find the place.

I was quite impressed with this place! I'm no expert on Indian food but I felt this was really delicious. The tandoori chicken was perfectly seasoned and the butter chicken almost melted in my mouth. Also, the green spicy sauce they give you with the crispy bread (for free) is amazing! I will definitely come here again. It is not cheap, but I felt that for the quality it is worth it.
Located in Soi11 Sukhumvit. Had one of the best authentic biryani till date. They go by their tag line by making fresh biryani. Looking to Bangkok Indian food standard, prices are normal. And one more thing, their liquor prices are also normal too. So have a sip of liquor and enjoy these Indian delicacies. I had Red label 🥂. Do give it a try. Enjoy ..
The food was great, flavourful and good portions (even though you might not think so at first) and it gives you that real Indian feel. The service was good, respectful and friendly. The manager checked to see if our food was to our liking. The place has a real atmosphere to it, and I can't wait to go there again.
Not cheap, but you are also paying for the excellent uncluttered sitting arrangements, the decor and overall atmosphere. Excellent presentation of the food- had the vegetarian thali. I thought medium spice would be sufficient but that was my mistake- my taste buds needed more spice! Classical Indian food- and not oily! Very good attention from multiple staff to ensure you are not left feeling ignored!
I don’t often eat Indian food but I believe I know all about food, taste and the chef's skills. After a long day work I headed to, Dum Handi Biryani in Sukhumvit 22 to meet a friend and enjoy a great meal. We ordered couple of things, the service, staff, food, cleanness were really awesome, food was served in just 7 minutes and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The price and the portion are reasonable, not to mention it's the best Indian food in town. Try it and I believe you will enjoy it.
If you look for a cozy but luxurious place to enjoy beautiful, tasty Indian food, this is the place to go. Panjab Grill Bangkok rises above other Indian restaurants of the same kind with the more delicately cooked food and the 5 stars service. Each dish is carefully cooked, freshly prepared, so tasty and so clean. The service is 5 stars. I cannot say enough about this place, succulent food, great service, and amazing ambiance. Highly recommended. You guys have no idea what you missing out on...We recently had our wedding dinner here and I cannot thank you enough for the great service and amazing food. It was absolutely worth it and a memorable one!
I think I’ve walked into the best Biryani experience in Bangkok. The food was so good. Paneer tikka had a smoky flavour. The biryani was a whole different experience. They open the pot of biryani in front of you. Love the staff as well!
